Our Safety Commitment
How we've improved our already strict safety protocols
While many things have changed during this COVID-19 pandemic, in all aspects of our lives, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to you and your safety!
In order to prepare you for your next appointment, we've made some important changes:
Every team member is screened daily upon entering the clinic, with a temperature check and a confirmation that they're clear of any COVID-19 symptoms.
We are following strict hand hygiene protocols, Infection Prevention Control (IPC) standards and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
We're following the recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols.
You'll notice that we look a little different, but rest assured that under all that PPE are the same friendly faces you've come to know over the years!
When you book your appointment we will have you complete a screening and consent questionnaire.
We will ask that you come alone to your appointment unless you need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian or support worker. We want to minimize the number of people not only in the waiting room, but in the clinical rooms as well.
If you have your own mask, we'll ask that you please wear it to your appointment. This helps us save Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for essentials workers.
When You Arrive
We'll ask that you stay in your car and phone us, so we know that you've arrived. We will text you when we're ready for you to enter the clinic.
When entering, we'll have you use the auto-dispensing hand sanitizer located just inside the front door.
We will ask you to complete a COVID-19 Patient Consent Form so we may provide treatment.
We will take your temperature using a non-contact thermometer.
During Your Appointment
When seated in the dental chair, we will provide you with a cup of mouth rinse and ask that you rinse for 30 seconds. When finished, you can spit the rinse back into the cup and we will dispense of it for you.
At this point we'll carry out your dental procedure. All procedures will be carefully follow the ADA&C and CRDHA guidelines to ensure not only your safety, which is paramount, but the safety of our team members as well.
After Your Appointment
We will direct you to reception where you will complete any exit forms and payment.
As you exit the clinic, we'll ask that you again use the auto-dispensing hand sanitizer.
Thank You for Your Cooperation
Please contact us if you have any questions. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to treating our Dental 360 family again!
